From Ottawa it is perfectly normal to suggest meeting in a bigger town nearby. People here do it all the time, and neither of you has to worry about running into the neighbours.
Within 30 miles of Ottawa there are 11 towns and cities — Yorkville, Morris and Streator among them — with more than 120,000 residents in all. You set the distance yourself in the filters, from 5 miles up to 300 miles — or choose “Any distance”.
Yes. YADate is a free online dating site, in Ottawa and everywhere else: profiles, search filters, likes, messages, voice messages and gifts cost nothing, and there is no premium plan. Daily caps exist only to stop spam: up to 40 new conversations a day, for example.
There are no fake profiles here: YADate doesn't create them or chat on anyone's behalf. Photos go live only after a moderator approves them, every account confirms an email address, and reports are reviewed by people. If someone asks for money or rushes you onto another app, report them — a moderator will look into it.
Yes. Pick any other city in the filters, at home or abroad, and YADate shows the people there.
