A weekday evening works well in Austin: places are quieter, you can actually hear each other, and there is no pressure to make it a long night.
Within 30 miles of Austin there are 23 towns and cities — Round Rock, Cedar Park and Georgetown among them — with more than 1.6 million residents in all. You set the distance yourself in the filters, from 5 miles up to 300 miles — or choose “Any distance”.
Yes. YADate is a free online dating site, in Austin and everywhere else: profiles, search filters, likes, messages, voice messages and gifts cost nothing, and there is no premium plan. The only limits are daily caps against spam, such as 40 new conversations a day.
YADate never creates fake profiles or writes on behalf of people who don't exist. A moderator checks every photo before it appears, every member confirms an email address, and any profile can be reported. If someone asks for money or rushes you onto another app, report them — a moderator will look into it.
