For a first meeting in Negombo, keep it simple: coffee in the centre, a walk in a park or along the main street, maybe a small concert. An hour is enough to know whether you want a second date.
Within 50 km of Negombo there are 15 towns and cities — Colombo, Dehiwala-Mount Lavinia and Maharagama among them — with more than 1.6 million residents in all. You set the distance yourself in the filters, from 10 km up to 500 km — or choose “Any distance”.
Yes. YADate is a free online dating site, in Negombo and everywhere else: profiles, search filters, likes, messages, voice messages and gifts cost nothing, and there is no premium plan. The only limits are daily caps against spam, such as 40 new conversations a day.
There are no fake profiles here: YADate doesn't create them or chat on anyone's behalf. Photos go live only after a moderator approves them, every account confirms an email address, and reports are reviewed by people. Anyone who asks for money or pushes you to move to another app straight away is worth reporting.
Yes. In the filters you can search around any other city, in Sri Lanka or abroad.
