Dating by city / South Africa / Western Cape / Cape Town
Members from Cape Town and towns within 50 km who make their profile public will appear here.
In a city the size of Cape Town, pick a place you can both reach in half an hour: a café near a metro or bus stop, an exhibition, a food market or a walk in a central park. Weekday evenings are quieter than Saturdays.
Within 50 km of Cape Town there are 11 towns and cities — Somerset West, Stellenbosch and Atlantis among them — with more than 5.3 million residents in all. You set the distance yourself in the filters, from 10 km up to 500 km — or choose “Any distance”.
Yes. YADate is a free online dating site, in Cape Town and everywhere else: profiles, search filters, likes, messages, voice messages and gifts cost nothing, and there is no premium plan. Daily caps exist only to stop spam: up to 40 new conversations a day, for example.
YADate never creates fake profiles or writes on behalf of people who don't exist. A moderator checks every photo before it appears, every member confirms an email address, and any profile can be reported. Anyone who asks for money or pushes you to move to another app straight away is worth reporting.
Yes. Pick any other city in the filters, at home or abroad, and YADate shows the people there.
