For a first meeting in Halifax, keep it simple: coffee in the centre, a walk in a park or along the main street, maybe a small concert. An hour is enough to know whether you want a second date.
More than 590,000 people live within 50 km of Halifax, in 9 towns and cities including Lower Sackville, Bedford and Eastern Passage. In the app you choose the distance yourself: from 10 km to 500 km, or “Any distance”.
Yes, completely. Nothing on YADate is paid, in Halifax or anywhere else: you can browse, like, write first and send voice messages or gifts without a subscription or credits. The only limits are daily caps against spam, such as 40 new conversations a day.
There are no fake profiles here: YADate doesn't create them or chat on anyone's behalf. Photos go live only after a moderator approves them, every account confirms an email address, and reports are reviewed by people. Anyone who asks for money or pushes you to move to another app straight away is worth reporting.
Yes. In the filters you can search around any other city, in Canada or abroad.
